Education in Faith 

On Sunday we celebrated, “Palm Sunday.”  Palm Sunday recalls a special event in the Christian Scripture of the New Testament, of Jesus entering into Jerusalem and being greeted by the people waving palm branches. This is a reminder of the welcoming of Jesus into our hearts and of our willingness to follow him. 

This week as we begin to prepare ourselves for the events of Holy Week we acknowledge that Holy Week is the most important week in the Church's year. It is a time when we celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. We remember his actions, reflect on his messages and recommit to living as his disciples in the world today.

As a catholic faith community of St Fidelis we will have the opportunity to celebrate the events of Holy Week.  This week our children will engage in re-enacting these events. We invite the St Fidelis community to join us as we celebrate Holy Week.
