Inclusive Education

Inclusive education seeks to support learning engagement and achievement for all students through a range of opportunities and support systems. 

It is with excitement that we begin the journey of MULTILIT Intervention across the primary school. Many thanks go to Adele Smit who has worked to assess all students in the primary school to record achievement in literacy. Through collating the results, we have identified students who will be in the initial groups. This intervention seeks to support achievement and build knowledge and confidence for students in literacy. The MultiLit intervention assists students in recognizing and recalling phonic sounds, decoding words and reading with fluency. 

All teachers seek to support students in learning engagement by providing experiences in learning that match the needs and future goals to implement growth. Thus Individual Education Plans have been drawn up for students and are now in place.
