Foundation Unit

Welcome back to Term 2! It was so nice seeing everyone’s smiling faces and to hear about what everyone did over the holidays.

Next week students will be partaking in the Wild Action Incursion where they will learn about the diet and habitats of Australian animals as part of our Living Things Unit. The students are very excited and have already been sharing some facts they already know about Australian animals. 

Next week we will also be starting Show and Tell. The topics the students will be presenting will be posted on Compass as well as a timetable for what day they will be presenting. 

This week we celebrated Anzac Day and the students discuss the importance of the day in class. It was lovely to hear that many students attended services, had discussions at home and even made some Anzac biscuits.
