Main Campus - Year 4

Welcome back to school for Term 2. We hope that you all had a relaxing and enjoyable break. We are very pleased to welcome Mrs Ireland back after her leave last term. We would like to thank all of the families who lovingly cared for our animals over the holidays and we’re sure our students will be very excited to be reunited with them again! 

Thursday Activities

There are two weeks remaining of the Thursday activities for CU1 and CU3 (including today) for the current rotation. Please pop your name down on the roster or contact us if you are available to assist for our final week next week.

Carlsruhe Class Rotation

Just a reminder that we are approaching our first rotation of classes out at Carlsruhe for the year. On Friday 12th May, CU2 and CU3 will pack up their belongings at their respective campuses, ready to start work at the opposite campus on Monday 15th May. CU2 will move into the portable classroom at Carlsruhe while CU3 will take over CU2s current classroom at the Woodend campus, located in the portables near the bottom of the school. 

• All CU2 and CU3 students will need to bring in a sturdy labelled supermarket bag on Friday 12th May to transport their belongings.

Weather

We are now well into Autumn and can start to expect some wetter, colder weather in the coming months. If your child has some spare gumboots, it would be a great idea to send them along (labelled) for your child to put on for gardening and outside job times to save their shoes getting wet and muddy. Similarly, in winter we ask the students not to wear shoes inside in an attempt to keep our classrooms mud-free. Students are welcome to bring slippers to wear inside.
