Eyes on the prize!

Keeping the main thing the main thing!

I was taken back a few weekends as the peloton literally felt like they flew through the finish line at Victor Harbour.  My family and I often chase down the leaders around Adelaide in January and marvel at the sheer athleticism of these athletes as they weave in and out of synchronised formation, slipstreaming into place and riding with what appears to be great courage on many corners and descents.  What I think I am in awe of the most, is the way that the riders very selflessly and graciously hold their position in their team in order to release their sprinters to experience the least resistance throughout the race to then come forth and bring the ride home for the whole team.  The detail to each riders slight adjustments in response to adjacent riders contest for control is remarkable as they 'keep the main thing the main thing' and strategically move to protect their sprinter who will often slipstream behind them until they are ready to dash out and charge to the finish at the highest possible speed.

At Curiosity, we join with your team to press onto seeing your child reach their full potential with the conviction that we are not meant to do things alone but to do things in relationship.  Our ELC is built on the foundation of who God is and who he calls us to be in relationship with each other.  We know that there will be times of struggle, confusion and a need for a willing ear, so as we continue to build on our relationships with each other I encourage you as Paul does in the following Scripture, to focus on the amazing futures your child has at Curiosity and the endless possibilities when we keep them as the reason why we are here.

I thank you for your partnership and the encouragement you have been to our team in these first few weeks of launching into life at Curiosity.  We have felt very blessed!
