Wominjeka Everyone,
As most of you are in isolation, this term is going to be a bit different!
Students are encouraged to stay home and learn from a distance.
Here, at OSHC, we are still operating for those children who need to attend school. However, we are very very quiet and we all are missing you!
So, OSHC team has decided to keep in touch with all of you through some fun activities!
We are trying to provide a variety of activities from cooking to craft activities that you can do at home.
LEGO and Short Story Competition
This week we have a video from Eric and Adam who would like to invite children to a LEGO Competition, which is one of our popular activities!
Click here to watch the video

If you want to take part of this competition, please send us some photos of your work by 9am on Monday the 20th of April to oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au
Also, for the Short Story Writing Competition we are looking for ideas of themes - please give us some suggestions.
Cooking Club
We are going to provide some ideas for our cooking lovers. We will send out some videos of cooking activities on a weekly basis.
Next week there will be a cooking class with Naarah - a link of the video will be sent out hopefully on Tuesday!
Based on some parents’ suggestions, we have decided to share with one of our children's favourite snack: Coconut Curry with potato and chickpeas served with rice
Here is the list of the basic ingredients:
2 tbsp canola oil
2 Medium onions
600 gr potato
1tbsp turmeric
1tbsp garam masala
1tsp garlic
1tsp ginger
1vwg stock cube
1 tin chickpeas
2 cups of boiling water
1 tin chopped tomato
2 tins coconut milk or cream (800ml)
Sewing Club with Bev
As this was one of our popular activities, Bev will provide you with some basic instructions on how to make scrunches, pillow covers and so on – so stay tuned!
Looking forward from hearing from you all!
