Year 5-6 Science Bonanza

K. Grimmer

Next week our Year 5-6 students will be involved in two awesome science experiences.  On Tuesday, 30th July, the GTAC Outreach Team will be visiting our school and running sessions that look at the adaptations of bees and flowering plants.  On Thursday, 1st August the Ecolinc Road Show Team will run sessions with the students called “Fair Dinkum Dinosaurs”.  During these sessions,  students will have the opportunity to use virtual reality goggles which will be very exciting!  Both of these events have been offered to our students free of charge so there will be no cost for parents.  Keep an eye out next week for photos of these events on our school Facebook Page.

Beyblades

W. Finn

Students bringing personal items from home must be aware that it is their responsibility to take care of them.   If items are not named, it is very difficult for teachers to know who owns them.  Beyblades in particular are so interchangeable, it is difficult to track them.  If they continue to be a problem, we may have to ban them which would be unfortunate.

Swimming Program

R. Holy

Reminder to check that Permission Notes and payment have been returned to school.

Students will need to bring bathers, goggles and thongs in a plastic bag to school on their week of swimming.
