Physical Education
Thank you to all our students who have participated in our Remote learning PE program. We appreciate that space and time can be a challenge for families so we thank you for your support. Extra wonderful to see families joining in with the fitness as well! If you have any questions about the program or foresee future challenges, please contact us via Sentral and we can come up with alternative movement activities that may work better for your family.
During week 2, Senior students will be participating in Soccer activities so will need a soccer ball or a ball to kick around.
Looking forward to another fun week!

Indonesian
Selamat Datang! Welcome back to Term 2 - it’s certainly been a different start to the term! I would like to say a big terima kasih to all senior students who have participated in Indonesian for this week! It has been a huge learning curve for everyone, but students have embraced it and used their creativity and perseverance to do an amazing job!
I would like to take this opportunity to show off some of the creativity of students at home:

The 3/4 students worked on creating a map of an Indonesian Island and researched some native animals. Hebat, Kelas 3/4!
Have an amazing week!

Visual Arts
It has been fantastic to see our kids getting out and about, creating art from things gathered and grown. The video commentary and image sharing showed some wonderful collaborations with parents and siblings alike. Your can-do attitude and ability to run with the ball - curveball and all :-) was sensational to see. A very big thank you for all parents and caregivers that have joined in, leaning into the curve and enjoying the ride. Keep it up. Cant wait to see your next creations.

Performing Arts
A new term, a new way to create. This week all year levels will be starting their Performing Arts units. These units are full of activities that allow students to create and build on their Performing Arts skills and knowledge. I look forward to seeing what amazing work the students upload each week.
I will be running the Senior Choir on Mondays at 11.30 through Zoom and hopefully through the power of technology we will still be able to reach the community with our voices.
Throughout the world at the moment Performing Arts in particular music, has become a very powerful tool to communicate, entertain and express emotion. It shows the importance of music in our world and the power it holds. At this time I encourage students to hear and see some wonderful Performing Arts experiences that are being shared online from all over the world. Such things as Andrew Lloyd Webber playing his music from home, Online Choirs singing as one, Dance classes and performances.
“Music is the great uniter. An incredible force. Something that people who differ on everything and anything else can have in common.” Sarah Dessen.
