REDUCING THE CONFUSION

Medical profile in PAM must be completed and updated as needed please.

As part of our commitment to reducing the number of platforms used by the school for communication, we will be stopping the use of Flexibuzz  on the 1st of December.   

We ceased using CareMonkey at the beginning of Term 3 this year.  Please un-link St Laurence's from your child's profile.  You will then stop getting emails to update etc or you can delete the app.

Our student management system SIMON which is linked to our Parent Access Module (PAM), now has a dedicated app called SIMON Everywhere. This can be downloaded free from your app store.  It has very easy prompts to follow.  When you download the app please follow the prompts to identify our school and then use your PAM login and password to connect.  If you are having issue with getting the app onto your device, please come in before 2:30pm on any day for assistance.  

SIMON Everywhere will give you the same information PAM gives (currently via a web browser) but adds some functionality which will replace Flexibuzz on 1st December 2019.  The school will be able to email out to parents information/letters giving information (which previously we did through CareMonkey or Flexibuzz). It will also send notifications of messages from the school. This could include a short notice for your information (change of time or location), for absence notification (if you have not notified the school of an absence) or to share important information.

In future, this app will also give us the option of a locked feed - so that we can share images and event results without general public access. This will maintain student privacy better than current social media options and will also open the classrooms and school events up for parents to share the fun of a school day.

Please download SIMON Everywhere and have a play.  We ask that everyone is on SIMON Everywhere before the Flexibuzz cut off date of 1st December.
