VCE Unit 3/4 Exams

Monday 22 October marks the final day of schooling for our Class of 2018 Nazarenes, with celebrations during the period 4 Farewell Assembly and the Year 12 Breakfast the next morning.  The journey is not quite over for VCE students, though.  As discussed with Year 12 VCE students at an assembly on 15 October, an organised strong and consistent routine of study over the coming weeks, supported by healthy eating and sleeping habits, will be essential to ensure students gain the most from their work across this year as they undertake final preparations for the VCE Unit 3 / 4 examinations. 

From Wednesday 24 October – Friday 26 October an additional revision session for each Unit 3 / 4 class has been scheduled.  Students are encouraged to utilise this opportunity to seek teacher assistance and obtain valuable advice and feedback.  

During the VCE Unit 3 / 4 examination period students are required to wear their full school uniform in an appropriate manner for each examination they attend. Additionally, students are to follow all examination regulations as set out in the VCAA publication, ‘VCE Exams Navigator 18’, which has been distributed to students and is also available on the VCAA website - http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/vcaanavigator_web.pdf

Year 9 - 11 examinations

In a few short weeks, examinations will commence for Year 9 – 11 students.  A letter outlining the expectations and regulations for examinations will be emailed to families shortly.  All parents and guardians are encouraged to read this with their child(ren) to ensure the examination experience is as smooth as possible.  

Examinations will take place during the following dates:

  • Year 11 examinations        Tuesday 13 November – Thursday 22 November
  • Year 10 examinations        Thursday 15 November – Thursday 22 November
  • Year 9 Examinations           Monday 26 November – Wednesday 28 November

In the week following examinations Fast Start will commence where Year 10 and 11 students will start their VCE/VCAL studies.  Year 9 students will also commence their 2019 Year 10 subjects on the day after their examinations.
