Music Tour – Ensemble Positions

Parents of students successful in auditioning for Chamber Choir, Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra will shortly receive an email containing a formal invitation to join the Music Tour to Sydney from  4 - 11 July2019. It is important that this electronic form is completed and forwarded to music@johnxxiii.edu.au by Wednesday, 19 September.

Primary Open Night

The Primary Open Night on Monday, 17 September features performances by the Years 5 and 6 Bands, Mini Minors, String Orchestra, Primary Singers and Wanju Voices. Students should arrive 10 minutes before their performance to set up. Please see below for a schedule for the night. We welcome all guests!

Singing in the City – Treble Choir

The dates for the annual Singing in the City festival have been announced as Sunday, 21 October. John XXIII College Treble Choir will be performing a half-hour program of choral works at Wesley Church in the heart of the city, from 2:00pm. This performance is unticketed, with free entry on the day, and all parents and family friends are invited to attend.

Spring Soiree

The depth of musical talent at our recent Spring Soiree was outstanding. The concert featured performances from the Concert Band, Wind Band, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Senior Guitar Ensemble, Swing Band, Senior Flute Ensemble, Treble Choir and Chamber Choir! It was a great opportunity to also honour our Year 12 musicians for their years of musical service to the College.
