3LS - WHPS Film Festival

We had an amazing term exploring and learning all about Stop Motion animations this term in Year 3. For our Media Arts Inquiry unit, we created mini animations to tell a short narrative of our choosing by creating story boards, sets, characters and props. We thoroughly enjoyed our incursion with Brett from Cardytoons as we learnt how to create clay characters and use small movements for a practice Stop Motion animation.

We loved having the opportunity to share our products across the school and hold an expo for our parents during the WHPS Film Festival day.
