AFTER SCHOOL CARE

 Junior Program

Prep and grade 1 children have enjoyed constructing in the Steiner area. They have created a zoo for the dinosaur’s.

There has been many designs created on the rubber band and bead boards.

Children have also been experimenting with new drawing materials such as the metallic pencils on dark coloured paper

Middle Program

This fortnight the children have been weaving with straws and wool to create bracelets and building origami twisted starts.

This has encouraged learning new skills and persisting with sometimes difficult tasks

We have also been excited to create their own pieces for the OSHC art show canvas

Senior program

The children have enjoyed the extension of oil pastels and the watercooler pencils. Pallets and pastels. The mixing of colours and experimenting with the new medium has bought about lots of interesting creations.

The children are now working on using these mediums to decorate items and signage for the room.

REMINDERS AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Fee Increase for 2019 – there will be a $1 increase to ASC fees only as of the start of Term 3. This increase is to enable the program to employee a person to manage the accounts more efficiently and chase up outstanding payments and follow procedures for this. The new ASC rate will be $25 permanent and $30 for casual bookings. We have left the BSC and Vacation Care fees at current rates for the rest of this year.

Keep your eye out for direct Debit forms coming out in the next 2 weeks

We are hoping to have this payment plan in place by the end of the term.

We will also have electronic sign in starting during the vacation care program. This will make drop off and pick-ups much easier for families once we have it all in place

Please bear with us while we get everyone onto the new system.
