Father's Day Breakfast

Last Friday marked another memorable event in our year as we celebrated Father's Day with a breakfast fit for a king (or the Dads).  The room was a buzz of proud Fathers, Special People and kids dressed in their footy colours. It was a fantastic morning filled with good coffee, yummy bacon and egg rolls, and some delicious Korean BBQ meat donated by Greg and Soel Kim (Tae Yoon's family - Prep).

Thank you to our preps for their touching performance of "You are my Sunshine”. No doubt it brought a tear to the eye of many Dads in the crowd. Special thanks to Jackie Scott for helping the preps with this performance and also for her video of the children telling us what they love most about their Dad! It was so beautiful. 

Thank you to Joss Coaley for compiling all of our special photos, it has become a real highlight for the kids and everyone to look out for their photo and admire others'.

Congratulaions to the lucky raffle winners.  Huge thanks to SouthSide MMA in Port Melbourne, the Port Melbourne Football Club, The House of Golf, BBQ's Plus, Auscarts Racing and Vangeli's Deli.  The raffle was a great success raising $766.  

Special mention also goes to the egg shop at the South Melbourne Market - Babes Eggs for their donation of the eggs.  Kirkpatricks Butchers, again from the South Melbourne Market, for their help in sourcing the bacon, Woolworths and Coles and Bakers Delight in South Melbourne. 

Finally, thank you to our Prep parents for all of their amazing efforts in putting together our Father's Day celebration, volunteering on the morning and packing up afterwards.  A big shout out to Wendy for all her help too!
