Last week in GOSH was dedicated to friendship, we've made a lot of presents for our best friends and yet more to come. Isabella, Rosa, Olivia, Elana, Millie, Chloe, Maya, Morgan, Jensen and many others have impressed us with their creativity, imagination and outstanding art& craft skills!
Next week we'll have 'Adventures and experiences week', a lot of fun is expected!

Galilee Parents Association (GPA) News
Welcome Picnic
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Welcome Picnic such a wonderful success. Without our hard working parent volunteers these events could not go ahead. This event was hosted by Year 3 and a huge thank you to the 20 parents who tirelessly worked to set up, serve, run and pack down the event. Thank you to parents from other year levels who stepped in to help out too. Many of you may have noticed we had a long overdue new BBQ being used on the evening purchased from GPA funds. A shout out to Tim Callan for organising the purchase, delivery and putting together the BBQ to be ready for use!
Whilst the aim of the Welcome Picnic isn’t fundraising, we are happy to announce that we made over $1600 on the evening! Thank you yet again to Paula and Mark from Party Pizza Hire for serving their delicious pizzas and again for the generous donation to the school of $110 (a percentage of their sales from the evening). A gentle reminder, for future events, that out of respect for the food trucks who generously come to our school and the parents who worked so hard to cook and serve the sausages, that the BYO picnic option is for families wishing to bring a homemade picnic not take away food from outside venues.

Wednesday 13 March: Formal GPA Committee Meeting. All are invited to come along and see what it is all about and offer their input and assistance to the GPA.
Friday 29th March: Parents Only evening for all parents hosted by GPA and DOGS at the Middle Park Bowls Club. There will be barefoot bowls, a band and food trucks on site. We look forward to seeing you there!
Saturday 27 July: Announcing our offical date for our Annual Trivia Night! Plans are well under way but we need many more volunteers to take charge of roles and to support these people taking on a task. Anyone who is interested or would like more information of the roles and their descriptions please email us at events@gsmelbournesth.catholic.edu.au.
We will be asking for support from our school community to sponsor the Trivia Night and donations for our silent and live auctions. start thinking about how you can help out. More details to come very soon!
