Ignatian Induction Program for Parents

All John XXIII College staff and parents are given the opportunity to participate in the Ignatian Induction Program.

 

The modules aim to provide staff and parents with the essence of the ethos of John XXIII College. They are a great opportunity to learn about lgnatian Spirituality and meet other parents to explore spirituality within an lgnatian context.

 

The program consists of six independent content modules with a certificate issued upon completion of all six modules.

Enriching Family Life talk

This Talk brings the fruits of 27 years of Inigo Speakers and my 'too many to count’ years as an Educator, Parent and Grandparent to the ‘coal face’ of your home.

 

The talk includes: -

  • Rules versus Relationships.
  • Providing a practical spirituality platform for a more loving and ‘happy’ home.
  • Dealing with anger and hurt.
  • Sibling rivalry – some insights on managing.
  • Care- frontation and boundaries.
  • Communication improvement.
  • Discipline that ‘Works’.

 

Talk format:

  • Input and forum discussion to share ideas
  • Talk is for PARENTS ONLY.

 

Murray Graham (M.Ed) is Director of the Inigo Centre, John XXIII College, whose objective is to enrich Adults in Spirituality and Relationships. Murray has given the 9 hour, 6 module, ‘Ignatian Induction’ programme to groups of Staff and Parents during the last 6 years.  Murray also gives Talks to Teachers in other Schools and to Parishes in the City and Country.
