- Four Grade 5 girls took over the responsibility of entering the bills data onto Resource Smart Schools webpage
- The SAKG program has continued so beautifully with Sonia and Liz running an amazing program in the kitchen and garden
- Book drive to ensure old books were re-homed within our classrooms rather than ending up in landfill
- Used student stationary collected by a variety of parents to take overseas for donation at a number of schools in need (Thank you to Yushitha Samarakoon, Alejandra Quintero-Serrano, Matt Collins and Indunil Weeraratna!)
- Staff classroom resources donated to other staff members before being offered to the wider school community to avoid being placed in landfill
As Elise and I are both going travelling next year we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Kingswood community for being so supportive over the past 5 years with our passion to make Kingswood Primary School as sustainable as it can be. It's a huge group effort and we are excited to announce that a new passionate team of teachers will be taking over from us next year to continue the journey!
