Girls Softball State Championships

On Wednesday 27th November, our Year 5/6 Girls Softball Team competed in the State Championships. The team started back in Term 1 and have progressed through all levels to get to this stage. On the day they played 3 matches in total, the team got off to a great start with a win in their first match and only narrowly lost the next two matches. The students practised before school and at lunchtime during Term 4 and this commitment enabled them to reach a high level of competition. Well done to the girls: Lily, Hana, Raena, Liv, Zoe, Amy, Jemma, Beth, Stacey, Lucy and Amelia.

Also a huge thanks to Mr Kato for the hours of coaching the team throughout the year and the parents for transporting the girls to all of the events! Well done to all!

Year 5/6 Water Safety Day

On Monday, the Year 5 & 6 students participated in a water safety day at Mordialloc beach run by Lifesaving Victoria. Students learned how to be safe when in the ocean, how to apply first aid and took part in lots of fun swimming activities. Thanks to the parent helpers and teachers on the day.
