Kindergarten

Kindergarten has been very busy learning about 3D shapes. We went for a walk in the playground and found some great examples! The steeple of the Cathedral looks like a cone, and the handrails look like cylinders. 

We have also been learning all about weather and have made up our own weather symbols for sun, rain, snow, clouds, wind and frost. We talked about what happens to puddles when the sun comes out and have been looking at ways to measure rain. 

KC have welcomed Miss Sarah Norris, a final year education student, who will be working with us for the next 4 weeks. We hope Miss Norris enjoys her time at St Mary's!
