BOOK WEEK CONTINUES
Town Library Visits
Classes K-5 are visiting the Town library this week and next. Please return permission notes ASAP.
O’Connor Visit
Today a group of O’Connor Year 9 students will join stage 2 students to share their favourite book. We hope all students will enjoy this time.Thank you to the Principal Regina Menz for bringing the students to our school.
Reading Afternoon
Tomorrow afternoon we have a few parents coming to share their favourite book with a class. We look forward to the visit.
Stage 1 has already had a visit from Flynn Devenish-Meares dad who brought along a selection of special braille books. He read to the group from one of these.
PREMIER'S READING CHALLENGE
The PRC concludes at the end of this month (31st August). Please log books read so as to receive your certificate.

LIBRARY BOOK DONATIONS
The library has had many visitors last week donating a book to help keep our library stocked with great reads. This is the last week for donations. It will be open before school and after school till 4pm this week except Friday. No afternoon sales that day. Books range in price from $5-$15.
CHESS
St Mary’s is hosting the NSW Junior Chess League – Regional Chess Tournament next Tuesday. 21 students will be participating on the day against schools from Armidale and around the region. We wish them good luck.
