Principal's Report

Term 4 Week 9

Grade 6 Graduation

It was fantastic to see our 2019 year 6 students graduate last night at the Greta Hall. It was a great turnout with all 24 year 6 students across all of the King Valley Schools coming together. This years group of year 6 students for Moyhu Primary School, Lachlan, Xavier, Audrey, Lily and Ivy have all demonstrated great leadership, empathy for others, and have grown within themselves. All five students have continually challenged themselves and their learning throughout the year to achieve excellent academic results. All five have been a delight to have in our school and all parents should be very proud. While they will be missed, they have been excellent role models for other students in our school. We wish them all the best at secondary school.

Bluearth

Last week we sadly said goodbye and good luck to Swanny from Bluearth as he embarks on a new adventure with the Wangaratta High school. This will not interfere with our Bluearth sessions, however we will be welcoming a new coach next week for our last session for 2019.

We have also been reflecting on all the games and skills that we have learnt over the year with Bluearth and our whole school goal is to attempt to play at least one Bluearth game a day until the end of the year.

Swimming

Children have been enjoying the swimming lessons at the YMCA. Unfortunately our last session was postponed from last Friday to this Wednesday, however it does mean that everyone gets the opportunity to participate. In our final swimming session children will be able to experience swimming fully clothed to ensure they are developing their swimming survival skills.

Pupil Free Day - Reminder

Please don't forget that this Monday 9th December is a Pupil Free Day for Report Writing . Staff will be writing reports on this day.
