VCAL Events

Throughout the year, the Year 11 and Year 12 VCAL students are actively engaged with the Duke of Edinburgh voluntary ‘Service’ commitment. The aim of the voluntary service is based on the belief that members of the community should care for each other and contribute to their community. Previous College participants with the Duke of Edinburgh program have reflected that it was the voluntary service that gave them the most satisfaction. Some of the voluntary service the Aitken College VCAL students have been participating in includes helping with the Year 5/6 sport program and the Interschool sport competition.
