Forensic Science

Recently our Forensic Science class set up a mock crime scene to investigate a shooting where students needed to find the evidence that would lead to the killer.

Students then delivered content information on how to determine blood types before this information was used to determine the victim's blood types.

When they put all the pieces of the puzzle together they were able to work out who the killer was.

Biology

Unit 2 Biology students have been studying DNA and the patterns of inheritance that occur in humans.

Through their research some students wrote newspaper articles to inform their peers on the Human Genome Project, what it is and how we will be using this information in the future.

Being able to communicate scientific understandings with the wider community is an important skill that all Science students at the College have been working on.

One example of this work is this article from student Ratana Siv.
