Brewarrina Immersion

Brewarrina Immersion 2018
Our VCAL team participated in the sixth, successful Brewarrina Immersion in early August and have many stories to tell of making friends, helping out and learning about the rich Indigenous history and culture of the this area of outback NSW.
The students were able to demonstrate complex planning and organising skills and strong team work, as they dealt with physical challenges and opened themselves to new experiences in a vastly different setting to our own.
The group gained a deeper understanding of the importance of identity, justice, spirituality and service and will share these insights over the coming weeks in their individual reflections.
We are grateful to the dedicated staff who shared these experiences with our students: Mrs Felicity Hutton, Mr Adam Prime, Mr Kevin Morgan and Mr Jye Warren.
