ABODA Band Festival

In Week 4 on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 August we have 3 ensembles competing in the State wide ABODA Band Festival held at Westminster School. The performance and ensemble times are as follows:

Thursday 15 August

Concert Band 1 – 4.10 pm

Friday 16 August

Stage Band 2 – 12.50 pm
Stage Band 1 – 5.00 pm

It would be lovely to see as many people come and support our ensembles as they have been working very hard towards this. Admission to the venue is a gold coin donation. A letter has been sent home via SEQTA and consent will be given via Consent2Go. If you require more information about the event please do not hesitate to contact Miss Pope or Mrs Hunter.

Annual Music Concert

Our largest event for the year will take place on Thursday 29 August at the Woodville Town Hall. A letter has gone home this week outlining information for the ensembles involved. We are asking for donations for our raffle to be brought to Loana Liew in the Front Office. Tickets are selling fast and can be purchased via https://www.trybooking.com/BEGUW . There will be limited tickets available at the door. All parents, friends and students of the community are invited to attend. The evening will be filled with wonderful music, drinks, nibbles and raffle prizes to be won.

Catholic Schools Music Festival

Information about our involvement in the Catholic Schools Music Festival has been sent home recently. The Choir will be performing on the first night – Monday 23 September. Our Senior Vocal Group will also be involved in each night of the festival as part of the Secondary Boys Choir. Further information about the festival will be distributed shortly once details have been confirmed and tickets go on sale.
