Yr 12 Business Class Excursion

Yakult Factory

On the 14 September the Year 12 Business class went on an excursion to the Yakult factory here in Melbourne, it happens to be the only Yakult factory in the whole of Australia, supplying our great nation (and not as great New Zealand) with the refreshingly fruity probiotic fermented milk drink we all know and love. I think I speak for the whole class when I say we found this excursion to be very helpful revision and it gave us an excellent case study to use for our exams. Our lovely tour guide Leanne took us through the various areas of the factory explaining how the different machines work and an even more helpful explanation of how that related back to the topics we had been learning in class, information which will prove invaluable for studying as we get closer to our exams. After a few short hours our tour was finished and we headed back to school with the most important thing of all, knowledge (and a frozen ice pack that was fun to play with).
