PARENTS BATTLE OF THE BANDS

What a night!  Congratulations to the Ripoffs who battled valiantly to score 3rd PRIZE – a brilliant effort from the field of 7 local primary schools.  The competition was fierce and the performances were of an extremely high calibre – we came in just behind St Kilda Park Primary in 1st Place and St Kilda Primary in 2nd.

RPS parents, Dagmar and Andrew Yeaman, Fiona Harris, Colin Smith, Matt Smullen and Arwen Tuck were joined by Jeff Wortman and Michael Yanko, and they rocked their 80’s fluro socks off!  They took us back to our youth with hit songs from Flashdance, Grease and Footloose and brought it home hard with classics from Elton and Elvis ... with costume changes to match – it was truly IMPRESSIVE and SO MUCH FUN!

HUGE thanks to all the RPS parents who came along to support the Ripoffs ... we’ll let you know how much we made for the RPS music program in due course.  Congratulations to Dagmar and Anna for organising such a fantastic event.

Ripponlea Primary is proud to again support the
