VCE Unit 1 Food Studies
During the first term, students in Miss Olney’s Food Studies class have been creating some magazine worthy food as part of their practical SAC’s. The first images are a frittata that uses the ancient grain Farro. The other images are an interesting combination of a potato pancake with crispy bacon and maple syrup.
Let’s Bake
The first term enabled students in Miss Olney’s Let’s Bake the creative opportunity to create their own flavoured muffin. Their only constraint was it had to include at least one fruit or a vegetable. Most students went for the sweet option and used fruits. As part of their assessment students made a box to package their muffins in. Here are some of their creations.
