Landcare

Last year a group of Indigenous students from Wanganui were asked by Landcare to design an animal shaped footpath for The Peter Kennedy Park Reserve in Muckatah. The Landcare group used a satellite to pin point the paths changes in direction, enabling them to create an accurate turtle shaped path, just like the one our students designed. This path can now be seen by planes flying over the reserve. The group of students were the first to walk on the path and were presented for their beautiful designs, with certificates.

Students: Sharni Beeton, Rhy Damon, Damien Turner, Rylie Armstrong, Josie Morehu, Sienna Richards, Taya Atkinson, Anerley west, Taylah Lindrea, Jada Briggs, Nyeesha Dickson, Rae-Nee Roberts, Ells Kerr, Mollie Kerr.

Tatura Netball Association

Hello Netballers,

Welcome to 2017 Friday Night netball.

Fixtures are attached, we've survived (sort of) the move to online registration & we're ready to go...but wait of course there's the chance of rain!

Despite the best laid plans of mice & men it would appear the elements think otherwise.

With the possibility of rain tonight a decision will be made after 2.00 pm but before the end of the school day about cancellation. Schools will generally be contacted to make announcements. Text messages will also be sent to school/club/team representatives to then communicate on. An email to the TNA distribution list will also be sent.

Simon Pogue, President.
