ANZAC DAY – TUESDAY 25TH APRIL, 2017

 

On Tuesday, our school captains, Phoebe Gale and Dino Nicolopoulos represented the school at the ANZAC Day ceremony at the Cenotaph in Shepparton. This year we were also invited to attend the ceremony in Mooroopna, which we accepted, and our vice captains Izzy Treacy and Jack McKindley attended on behalf of the school. On Monday, the school ran its annual ANZAC Day ceremony in the front courtyard. Once again, our students showed a wonderful respect for our ANZACs

WANGANUI PARK ATHLETICS

 

The Wanganui Park Secondary College Athletics Carnival has been cancelled, unfortunately, due to the new track being unfinished at McEwen Reserve. The new date for the carnival is now Friday 25th August

VMG/VCE SELECTIONS SEMESTER 2

 

Our VMG students have recently made their selections for Semester 2 and we are beginning the process of allocating students to classes. At the VCE level, a small number of students will be making changes to their present courses and this will occur in late May.

GRADE 6 INFORMATION NIGHT FOR 2018

 

The Grade 6 information night for Wanganui Park enrolments for 2018 is to be held on Wednesday 10th May at 7pm in the Visy Care Centre.

The following week there will be tours of the college and these will take place as follows:

Monday 15th May        9.15am and 11.15am

Tuesday 16th May       9.15am

NAPLAN TESTING

 

Year 7 and 9 students will be completing tests in Literacy and Numeracy. These will take place from Tuesday 9th May until Thursday 11th May. Results from these tests are returned to the school towards the end of Term 3 and posted out to parents. Any parent who wishes to withdraw their child from this testing should contact the Main Office and we will provide you with a withdrawal form to sign.

If you would like duplicate sets of your child's NAPLAN results, please notify the Main Office.

SPA CYCLE

 

SPA Cycle 2 reports will be available in the week beginning Monday 22nd May.
