Prep/1 Swimming

A few things to remember for the swimming program.  Make sure you have given permission on Compass for your child to attend swimming. Don't forget to pack their swimming gear on Tuesday morning.  There will be NO lunch orders for Prep - 1 next week because of the swimming timetable.

Year 4/5/6 Excursion

On Thursday, September 8th the Year 4/5/6 students will be travelling to the Arts Centre to attend the performance of ‘Yong’ put on by the Monkey Baa Theatre Company.

The story is based on the book by Janeen Brian.

It is a brand-new work about family, honour and the risks taken in search of a better life.

Set against the backdrop of the Australian Goldrush of 1857, Yong is a new Australian play by Jenevieve Chang. Mixing historical fact and narrative fiction, Yong takes us on a journey across land and sea, from China to the goldfields of Australia.

Please keep an eye out for the permission note that will go up on Compass for this excursion in the coming weeks.  The cost of the performance is $14 per student for those families who have not paid the excursion levy.  This cost includes the performance and bus.

Doctors in School

Our doctor will be back next Wednesday 10th August.  We have a few appointments left for the 10th so please ask at the main office if you would like to make an appointment.
