Grade 5/6

CAMP

Last week we wrote about the weird and wonderful animal that we have been learning about and this week we are thinking about all the weird and wonderful things that are going to happen on camp. It is going to be weird, finally getting to go on camp but it is going to be so wonderful to be away, developing resilience, independence, having fun and being with our friends.

We are asking that you take the time over the weekend to pack for camp. Take out your camp list and tick the items off as they go in. This is a great task for the students to do with a parents assistance or a parent check over after they have had a go. 

Don't forget to pack a teddy. There will be a teddy bear competition.

Weather

On checking the weather in Marysville, this week included lots of rain and the prediction for next week is that the sun is coming out just for the grade 5/6s from ACPS on Tuesday! It will still be cold but we will be so busy we wont notice.

Medication

Just a reminder - if your child is taking any medication. The labelled and named medication needs to be brought to school in a zip lock bag. This needs to be given to Mrs Eastwood on the morning and the medication paper work handed in at the same time.
