Upper Primary 3

What's been happening?

Hello and welcome to Upper Primary 3.

This semester the driving question we are working towards answering is, ‘How do animals survive in their habitats?’.

To help us answer this question, in English we are reading and writing about what animals eat, how they communicate, what their features are, how they move and where they live. We continue this animal discovery in HASS by learning about the features of animals’ habitats, where they are located and how we can care for these habitats.

Our Maths learning sees us demonstrating many numeracy skills both individually and with our classmates, having lots of fun along the way. These skills include place value, addition, location, shape and money.

Keeping healthy and safe in our classroom, school, home and in our community are areas we are discussing and demonstrating in HPE.

We have also begun practicing for Sport’s Day in HPE, through participating in games with and without equipment, basic movement skills and competing as a team.

We hope you have enjoyed hearing about our interesting and active days at school 😊
