Term 3
NETBALL
A Welcome back for Term 3 saw our Netballers commence the week with some group investigations and presentations on understanding the positions roles, objectives and opponents' objectives. Grouped in pairs the girls informed and discussed with the class these aspects. It was great to see the growth in depth and understanding now developing in their knowledge.
This weeks on court focus has been on revisiting the high standards of footwork/agility and ball handling - passing and strong hands. With a challenge to take 10/10 of the coaches strongest passes and not go back over a line on the take a highlight.
We are visiting in the coming weeks space awareness and balance as well as vision of space and options to pass with good execution.
We have upcoming our trials for our 2023 Netball Program open to all WHC students girls and boys who fit the selection criteria. These trials will be held on Friday 22nd July at Corio Leisuretime Precinct Anakie Rd Norlane 4pm-5:30pm.
