20th Anniversary Celebrations
2019 is also a very significant year for us as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the International Accreditation Programme (IAP). In 1999, when based in Australia, ISQua launched ALPHA (Agenda for Leadership in Programs for Healthcare Accreditation); this programme was developed to provide accreditation bodies with a peer review assessment framework for both their standards and survey processes.
Since then, the programme has expanded and evolved, and it is now known as the International Accreditation Programme (IAP). Over the past twenty years, our reach has extended to 39 different countries and as of August 2019, a total of 349 surveys comprising of 207 standards, 96 onsite organisational, 37 surveyor training programme and 9 combined onsite organisational and surveyor training programme surveys have been completed.
To celebrate these twenty years and thank the many individuals who have been instrumental to the success of the programme, we will be marking the occasion at the ISQua conference during the poster presentations on Tuesday, 22nd October in the Exhibition Hall (Level 0, Hall 2). Please join us for some cake!
We have also developed an anniversary booklet which includes contributions from both our surveyors and client organisations. Copies of this booklet will be available from our website and also from the ISQua stand during the conference.
