Chess Competition

In response to the ongoing restrictions,  Northern Star Chess has been conducting a number of online tournaments for schools and coaching groups, as well as more public inter-school and open events. These events are set up in a secure online environment for juniors while providing a fully featured online tournament experience including the ability to view games, pairings and standings at any time.

Please note, we have a special charity event coming up on Sunday 21st June. Entry is free, but we're asking all participants to make a $20 + donation to the bushfire appeal run by St Vincent de Paul Society – The Vinnies Bushfire Appeal.

 

If you are interested in participating, please follow the instructions below:

 

 NSC Chess for Charity - Vinnies Bushfire Appeal - 21st June

 

Date:         Sunday 21st June

Time:        First round starts at 12pm, finish time 3:45pm to 4:00pm (approx)

Format:    7 round Swiss, 15 minutes per player per game

Cost:        A donation to the Vinnies Bushfire appeal of $20, or more, per player
