Welcome Back From Your School Captains

Hey Guys,

Welcome back to school! We know that some of you have been a bit nervous coming back to school but don't worry because there is absolutely, 100% nothing to worry about. Home learning has been hard and weird for everyone. Students, Parents and Staff here at COHR. We're sure every student is excited to see their friends after what, 2 and a half months, yeah it really has been that long. Anyway we are sure every parent was excited to have the home to themselves. School has changed a bit, the new buildings and everything else, we have to adapt to the changes like we did with home learning but we're back now and forever hopefully. We have made through to the other end of the tunnel of the virus, this new normal is not going to last forever. 

We hope to see our parents and other family arriving back at the school soon. With that said we would like to thank everyone. The parents, for supporting their children and encouraging them during the ups and downs of home learning. The teachers, for putting up work, and helping every single student as an individual. To the students, for persevering and completing activities to their best abilities. Thanks again for everyone playing their role to keep our community here at COHR safe and happy. 

Well with the thank yous out if the way, let's talk about coming back. We've been back at school for a week and some students may still be a bit nervous and that is okay. If you are one of those students that is still a bit nervous just try not to think about it and do your favourite thing that might be colouring, painting, going outside, even talking to your friends and lastly just leave some time to relax and to reflect on that day at school. There are lots of people you can talk to as well! You can talk to your teachers and friends about your feelings and they'll do everything they can to help you.

We know that some of the funner things may have been canceled or postponed but keep an eye out for activities happening in Wellbeing Week which is next week! Now that we're back, seize the moment and have some quality time with family and friends, have a chat, see how they're going, ask them what they did over home learning. Again make sure to keep an eye out for upcoming events happening throughout the school.

Before we go we want every student and other family members to thank 3 people for their efforts during home learning. Well now that that is over sadly, it's time to wrap it up from us. Keep up to date with newsletters and updates around the school. Keep on trying your hardest with your work and continue being the great person you are!
