Staggered start to Onsite Learning

The Premier has announced the plan for onsite learning in Victorian government schools. Students completing VCE and VCAL (all year 11 and 12 students and a number of year 10 students - only for VCE/VCAL subjects) recommence learning at school on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020.  The normal timetable for these year levels will be followed.  All students studying at these year levels are expected to attend school - remote learning options for these year levels will finish at the end of the day Friday, May 22nd, 2020.

Students in years 7-10 will continue with remote learning for a further two weeks.  Onsite learning for years 7-10 will commence on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020.

Whilst learning onsite will resume on these dates, there will be some changes around the school, which families need to be aware of:

  • Water bubble taps have been turned off.  Students must bring water bottles from home
  • The playground has been fenced off and is out of bounds
  • The table area in the cafeteria will be closed
  • Cafeteria lunch ordering is highly recommended, in order to minimise the need to cue up
  • Screens will be in place in the office areas, cafeteria and library
  • Hand sanitiser will be available in all rooms, and in key areas across the school
  • Parent/guardian/trade access to school will be limited during school hours
  • Contact sports (i.e. soccer, netball, basketball) will not be permitted
  • Staff will encourage social distancing as much as possible within a school environment

We are looking forward to seeing our students again and being able to deliver our learning programs face to face.
