It is a challenging time for all of us with the COVID-19 pandemic impacting us all in one way or another and we appreciate your support. In light of the changes implemented into child cares, the service has had to review their budget. As a result, the service will no longer be able to supply food during OSHC. This means families will be required to pack breakfast and/or snacks for their children. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your understanding.

My Time Our Place

The children have spent the past two weeks participating in the programmed activities which have focussed on ‘World’ Days. This means the activities are focussed around national days and holidays.

The children enjoyed creating their own hand prints to represent themselves and collate them together to demonstrate unity for reconciliation day. This activity was a key point of discussion around the importance of understanding Australia’s past, present and future and how the service can recognise the cultural diversities that unite us.

July Vacation Care Program

The July Vacation care booklet is available from the schools website, the OSHC room and has been sent out via email.

Child Care Relief Package

The child care relief package which has supported families by providing free child care will come to a close on the 12th of July 2020. Fees will resume as normal as of the 13th of July 2020.

Medications

If your child requires medication please ensure that you have provided an action plan as well as the medication (asthma pump, epipen etc.) to the service. It is vital that we have access to your child’s medication at our service whilst your child is attending.

Hats

As part of our sun safety policy all children are required to wear a hat if they are playing outside. Please remind your child/children to bring their hats from their classroom if they are attending the service.

Absentees

A reminder to all parents and caregivers to contact the service on 8443 5308 if their child(ren) are no longer attending their sessions or have been collected early from school.
