Education week – (STEAM)

Today the world is rapidly changing and our society is making advances within technology. Schools and the curriculum now have a responsibility adapt to this new technological world. 

Jacana School for Autism has introduced the new approach of teaching and learning referred to as “STEAM” as part of the Specialists’ Curriculum as an initiative to support our students. 

What is STEAM? 

STEAM is an approach to learning and development that integrates the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
