Now you’ve found your way, how about giving our Year 9 students a hand up?

Meeting with alumni can inspire Year 9 students to think about their futures.

Hearing personal stories about various professions and career paths helps them identify areas of interest and makes these possibilities real for them.

Alumni provide real-life role models. If you’re a former student of the College who’d like to give some of your time, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re planning a Year 9 Alumni event for late November this year. We intend to include some presentations and some informal conversations between students and alumni.

Piano Recital

I am writing to extend a special invitation to attend a piano recital hosted by the President of Loreto Past Pupils, Liz Prendergast. The recital will celebrate rich music and showcase the beautifully donated baby grand Monington & Weston piano from Loreto Nedlands to John XXIII College.

This exquisite piano, once owned by Gertrude Flynn (nee Wood), the Dux of Loreto in 1939, holds a special place in our history. We are delighted to have the opportunity to share its melodic notes with you once again.

The details of the recital are as follows:

Pianist: Joe Ryan (Class 2011) will showcase the piano with some music selected for the occasion.

Date: Thursday, 6 July 2023
Time: 3:30pm
Venue: John XXIII College, Osborne Room
Parking - John XXIII Avenue (next to the new Admin building)

The recital will be followed by light refreshments, allowing us to mingle and reminisce about our time at Loreto. It will be a wonderful occasion to reconnect with old friends, fellow alumni, and members of the John XXIII College community.
