PJ Party Tomorrow
Tomorrow we will celebrate the amazing job all our CNPS students have done by displaying our values with our Whole School Reward of a PJ party and movie afternoon!
As part of our token system, our students chose their reward and filled it to the brim with well over 450 tokens.
So make sure you wear your favourite PJ’s tomorrow to celebrate all of your hard work and excellence in displaying our school values!
Absences
Dear Parents and Carers,
When your child is absent, can we ask that you please log it on Compass (or call the office if you’re unable to access Compass) prior to 10am. At 10am an SMS alert is sent to parents where a student is unaccounted for. This is also the case when a student is late to class and misses the roll, which is why we ask that you come to the office and sign them in on the Compass kiosk when they arrive. If your child comes to the office without you, office staff can sign them in.
The school is charged for every SMS sent, which last month amounted to almost $100, so it’s really important absences are accounted for.
Thank you for your understanding!
Help us celebrate NAIDOC week on Friday 14 July
On Friday 14th July, our school will celebrate NAIDOC week.
This will be on the first Friday after the school holidays (14 July).
NAIDOC week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme is “For our Elders”.
We need lots of volunteer help to make this event run!
Please click on the QR code below to add your name to the roster (even if you filled in the paper-and-pen form, can u please check the roster in case your name has not made it to the roster yet!)
Any questions, please let us know: Kylie (Jethro and Baxter’s mum), Marnie (Alia and Charlee’s mum).
A social story about this NAIDOC event will be available soon!
Thanks!
