End of Term

Take the time over the holidays to recharge so that you are all ready to go for the final leg of your schooling journey.  For the Year 11s, we wish you an amazing adventure on your trip up north and we can't wait to hear all about it on your return.

Mathematics - Mr Chao

Congratulations to our Year 12 students who have achieved an average of 62% on their first Year 12 ATAR exam. This result is comparable to the state average of 63%. Well done to all students.

In Term 2, Year 11 ATAR students built a farm managing app using their handheld device called ClassPad II. The app focuses on all the complicated ATAR mathematics students have learnt in Semester One. It allows farmers to manage input and output costs

The realistic one is more complicated, but this is a little app that demonstrates where Mathematics and Information Technology are used in the farming industry, especially the concept of multi-dimensional data, which is now very commonly used in data mining.
