Principal's Report

Oval Update 

There has been some significant and exciting progress on the oval this week with the synthetic turf being laid. We look forward to more works occurring over the holidays such as laying of the asphalt edge, rebuilding of the Year 3/4 playground, construction of a new cubby house and replacement of the existing asphalt running track. The completion date is still sometime in the first few weeks of Term 3.

Prep Enrolments 2024

Thank you to all the families who have submitted a sibling enrolment form for Prep 2024. If there are any families who have not yesubmitted a form please do so ASAP to confirm your place for next year.

Our Prep Transition program will commence in the second half of the year with visits to the school in Term 4 for next year’s prep children and a comprehensive parent information session.

Volunteer Induction

We appreciate and value the contribution of volunteers to our school such as parent helpers in the classrooms or attending excursions. However we do ask that Wheelers Hill Primary School volunteers are familiar with our policies and procedures relating to child safety and understand the important role they play in maintaining and promoting the safety of our students.

Volunteers must read the suite of policies and procedures in the links below if they are volunteering at school when children are likely to be present.

Happy Holidays

I hope all our students and their families have a safe and happy holidays. We have had very busy and successful Term 2 of learning and other extra curricular opportunities. 

A big thank you to our teachers and staff for all their hard work over this term.

We look forward to seeing all our students back for Term 3 on Monday 10th July.
