COVID-19 Update

The holiday border closures and cluster outbreaks in Sydney and Brisbane reminded us that whilst Australia is in a good place with COVID-19, there remains a need for caution and care. School continues much the same, and the good news is that we are permitted to hold orientation, meet-the-teacher and welcome events in the next few weeks. Parents can make appointments to meet with staff. Plans for swimming carnivals, camps, expeditions and other such activities are progressing, in a Covid-safe manner. As always, our school will be guided by health advice in the best interests of safety for students. Please follow directions of our Covid-Safe plans.

However, care must continue to be exercised. Students and adults with cold and flu symptoms may not attend school and must be isolated until tested and cleared. Health advice re quarantine and ‘hotspots’ must be followed. Our Boarders have been spread out and dining and room arrangements are adjusted to keep our residents safe. Adults should continue to social distance and should not enter school unless approved. Sadly, food services at school continue to be restricted and lunch orders need to be permanent on a term basis.

Calrossy has been registered as a Covid-Safe Business and when parents attend an approved event, they should use the NSW Services app.
