Welcome to our new teachers!

Amy Devereaux

I'm Amy Devereaux, I have taught Mathematics for the past 8 years. I have had the privilege of teaching VCE General and Further Mathematics, I am passionate about supporting students through the challenges of VCE. I enjoy helping students achieve success at all levels and stages in their Mathematics learning. When I am not teaching I enjoy walking along the beach and planning my next overseas adventure. I am excited to have the opportunity to be teaching and working with the team at Matthew Flinders.

Paul Guardiani 

I am an English and Literature teacher with a passion for books and language. After teaching in Melbourne for the last five years, I am excited to be in Geelong and a part of the MFG community. When I am not teaching, I like gardening, cycling and cooking. 

Ebony Stacey 

I am excited to be joining Matthew Flinders as a Health, Physical Education and English teacher. I am passionate about my teaching methods and am really looking forward to sharing my knowledge and working with the team at MFG. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing sport, walking and reading. 

Andie Weetman

I am very excited to be joining the MFG community this year. This is my first year teaching, having graduated from Monash University last year. I teach Humanities and English and have a passion in particular for history and literature. 

Outside of work I enjoy reading, surfing and bushwalking. I am looking forward to beginning my                                                                           teaching career in this great school community.
