Santa Claus came to Town!

This week, the Preps were surprised with a very special visitor... Santa Claus. As soon as the students spotted his red and white suit down in the garden, they were overwhelmed with excitement. Of course, Santa had his 'Santa Sack' filled with amazing gifts for each of the Prep students. They got to ask Santa lots of questions and found out his favourite colours are red and white and his favourite football team is not the Sydney Swans, but Collingwood. After giving Santa a big high five, the Preps could not wait to get back in the classroom to unwrap their gifts.

3/4 News

This year's 3/4 were quite upset to not have been able to participate in a Sleepover because of the Covid situation. However, last Thursday and Friday the disappointment turned to lots of joy and fun when activities and a special Christmas performance came to school.

"Making the slime was the best thing ever because it is something that we probably wouldn't do at the Sleepover. I really enjoyed spending time with everyone in year 3/4 and all the different activities we got to do". Caitlin

"The Fun days that we had were a lot of fun because we got to do a lot of fun activities! We got to watch a performance that was all about Christmas and it was very funny. In the performance there were a lot of Christmas songs. On Friday we got to eat pizza for lunch and it was really yummy. We also got to have a donut and we had a disco in the afternoon. There were a lot of good snacks and drinks in the afternoon". Liam

"On Fun day we got to wear casual clothes and feel comfy. We also got to play new games and we got to enjoy some delicious pizza for lunch. Something that I felt was a great thing to do, was the challenge with our group. We had to make the best costume we could come up with, using four pieces of Butcher paper, 6 pegs and a variety of coloured pencils, crayons and textas. My group made Santa from hell, it was a scary but funny Santa. My favorite parts of fun day was dancing at the disco and starting the Conga line". Ria

"Making slime was fun because I got to experience something that I thought I would never experience, making slime! Making a costume with my group was funny because we made something that made me laugh a lot. It was a costume of a ghost and part of the costume was really cool because there was patterns all over it. I enjoyed when we were all dancing to the music at the disco". Enock

"I enjoyed making slime because it was my first time making it. I made blue slime. When each group made a costume out of paper and pegs and then we showed it to everyone else, we all got rated. I enjoyed the Disco party . A funny part of it was a long Conga that everyone joined". Brian

"I was really happy that we had a Fun day instead of Sleepover. I loved all the things twe did, they were all fun. I was really excited when we made the slime because I love to play with slime. I liked the Disco at the end of the day and I was happy that we got to wear coloured clothes to school". Sinchan
