Health Information

COVIDSafe @ Belmore School

Our COVIDSafe team have met every Wednesday morning this term to review our practice and ensure we are maintaining the health and safety of our students, staff and members of our school community.

While the Department has recently relaxed the restrictions in their Guidelines, as a school we have agreed that we will maintain our current Belmore School health and hygiene minimum standards of care for the remainder of the school year.

With triple zero transmissions in Victoria throughout the past month and the imminent release of a vaccine, we are extremely hopeful that we will be able to commence the new school year with a continued focus on the implementation of best practice including hand hygiene and staying at home when unwell, without the need for additional safety requirements such as face masks and exclusion of visitors to the school.

As we near the end of the year we take this opportunity to thank the entire Belmore School community for working together throughout the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff.
