MIPS News

Hello from Andrew and Allyson in the MIPS Office.

It has been a very busy start to the year for us with a move to our new office, now located in Room 7 of the North Wing, a new colleague joining the team and also taking over the co-ordination of the VET programs.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Ally Dovaston who has started with me in the MIPS office. Ally comes to us with many years of experience working in Vocational Training and Careers across various roles in Ballarat, but most recently with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

As part of her role Ally will be co-ordinating the Cluster VET programs for students which we think is a great add-on to our existing MIPS functions, making it a real “one stop shop” for all students seeking support and discussion around pathways and careers.

We love our new space and are finding that the new location being central to the senior students is great for student access and has created a fantastic increase in traffic through the office.

We are looking forward to working with you all in the coming year.

Andrew, MIPS
