Libby Crowther - Equestrian 

Congratulation to Libby Crowther (year 9) for her exemplary representation of MGSC at horse riding events over the holidays.  

Libby competed at the 2022 Australian Youth Dressage Championships at Boneo Park in January with her four year old horse Luna. This was their first competition together after only three months as a team. 

 They competed in the Interschools Prelim 1A Intermediate section receiving an amazing 70.6% placing them 3rd in the class. 

She also competed in the extremely tough Open Division against adult riders (under 25 years old) “Prelim 1B Horse” where she received another great score of 67.8% to get 8th place. 

Well done to Libby and Luna for wearing the blue and maroon with pride and your accomplishment. Given that Luna is a young horse and you are a new team, we are sure there will be happy times building your skills and your bond leading to further success.
